A Heartfelt Thank You to Our 2018 Conference Participants

Dearest Participants,

On behalf of the Empower The Immigrant Woman Organization and our dedicated staff, we extend our deepest gratitude to each and every one of you who attended our conference on Saturday, November 10th, 2018.

In today’s busy and demanding world, we truly appreciate the time, effort, and commitment you made to join us for what became an outstanding and memorable gathering. Your presence helped make this event a powerful success.

Celebrating Our Volunteers and Supporters

We want to offer a special thank you for your valuable contributions as volunteers. You are an essential part of our organization, and your friendliness, professionalism, and willingness to help inspire confidence and strengthen our mission every day.

Thank you also for your donations, participation, and the courage you showed in sharing your stories, ideas, and expertise. Your voices are what continue to move this organization forward.

Honoring Our Community Trailblazers

A huge congratulations to our 2018 Community Trailblazer Honorees. We were truly thrilled to celebrate your achievements and recognize the impact you have made within our communities.

Learning to Be Bolder in Civic & Political Engagement

One of the most powerful takeaways from this conference was the importance of becoming more courageous and engaged in civic and political life.

We were honored to hear from Sara Gideon, Speaker of the Maine House of Representatives, who shared valuable insights and new opportunities for reaching key communities through meaningful political engagement.

Our panelists also provided a refreshing perspective on what effective civic participation looks like today. Together, we engaged in honest and transparent discussions about how to be more successful advocates and the future of our political atmosphere.

Building Connections for the Future

We sincerely hope the conference met and exceeded your expectations. We are grateful that many of you took the opportunity to make new friends, renew old acquaintances, and connect with decision-makers and partners who will support your continued growth and success.

Thank You to Our Sponsors

We extend special appreciation to our generous sponsors for making this event possible:

  • Lee Auto Malls
  • Lee International
  • Congregation Bet Ha’am
  • Maine Initiatives
  • Bonnie Porta
  • Robert C.S. Monk

Your support helped empower immigrant women and strengthen community engagement.
