Celebrating Sisterhood This Black History Month

What better way to begin #BlackHistoryMonth than with the celebration of Sisterhood?

My friends and I have been cooking up meaningful ways to keep our minds and bodies connected through community. We’ve come together to share our ethnic cuisines, enjoy honest conversations, explore both the differences and the beautiful similarities in our cultural practices — all while sharing loud, unforgettable laughter.

(Some of us are definitely louder than others 🤣)

Sisterhood Meets Self-Care

Because what is sisterhood without self-care?

For us, it’s about so much more than just gathering — it’s about creating space for:

  • Girl talk and “girlie gossip”
  • Navigating adulthood and motherhood
  • Friendship and career journeys
  • Beauty, music, and dancing
  • Of course… food, recipes, and cultural stories

We realized something powerful: these moments of connection deserve to be shared.

The More the Merrier

We’ve decided to invite you — our community — into this growing circle of sisterhood. After all, the more the merrier.

Together, we’ll be highlighting cultures and conversations from around the world, including:

  • Nigeria
  • Ghana
  • Egypt
  • United States
  • Haiti
  • Jamaica
  • Uganda
  • Mexico
  • Japan
  • Kenya
  • India
  • Morocco
  • St. Martheen
  • African American communities

…and potentially many more as this journey continues.
